A truly grounding and thought-provoking reflection on Elif Shafak’s book!! Personally, your writing has reminded me about the importance of balance between the heart and the head. JazakAllah Khair , that was a reminder I didn’t know I needed :)

I am someone who is trying to get closer to her lord. I am in the middle where I’m trying my best but not there yet. I really want to become a better version of myself this year for the better and in all aspects of life. I have soo many goals for this year but am starting little by little of course. I have changed a bit but hopefully more inshallah. I pray and hope my lord answers my duas and forgives me for all my sin🙏❤️🤩😁✌️

so many times I rush through reading the posts I’ve accumulated, but this one I read through slowly, even rereading paragraphs over and over because I wanted it to sink in. I’m not generally the kind of person to read posts immediately as they upload(? is that the word?) but I’m so excited for the rest of this series. thank you so SO much for writing this; I genuinely think of it as a gift from Allāh (ﷻ) بارك الله فيك <٤

Last week has been pretty heavy on my soul, I was waiting to find the right time to start reading this series of letters, this felt like a hug to my soul.

JazakAllah khair for writing these, May Allah bless you abundantly and keep increasing you in your wisdom and closeness to Him.

Jazakallahu Khairan. It was a much needed therapy of the soul. I think the book itself couldn't convey these messages as like as your words and understanding have done that. I feel blessed to have read this post of yours. May Allah bless you and increase your wisdom everyday. Ma shaa Allah. Thank you so much for bringing this up. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
