why ‘her kept promise’ ?

‘her kept promise’ is a pen/brand name i’ve been using for the entirety of my writing journey. i originally chose it as a mere source of motivation, as i would often dip in and out of creative bursts. however, deep down, i always knew this name resonated with me - it felt right. writing has always been my method of escapism, in times of both hardship and gratitude. so, my ‘kept promise’ is to always honour this passion, nurture it and one day (if Allah wills) share it with the world <3

the aim of my writing has always been to connect with Allah SWT and my Prophet ﷺ on a deeper level, so naturally my writing will often carry Islamic undertones. i always go by the phrase ‘unapologetically muslim’, but of course all religions/faiths/beliefs are welcome here!

my hope is that through my words, i can inspire contemplation, growth, and a deeper understanding of the beauty in both faith and life. here, you’ll find reflections on faith, personal growth, and the everyday moments that make life meaningful. so, whether you're here for the writing, the reflections, or simply the connection, i’d love for you to join me on this journey.
